According to the recommendations of the Department of Education and Science of the Poltava Regional State Administration, taking into account the possible provocative shelling from the Russian Federation, general secondary and extracurricular education institutions will operate in a remote format on May 8 and 9.

This was reported by the city council of the Poltava community. Preschool education institutions will operate as usual.

Similar information about distance learning was also provided by the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.

In the military leadership of Ukraine, there is a recommendation to limit the gathering of people on May 8 and 9, but they do not insist on imposing a long curfew.

This was announced during a briefing by the head of the joint coordination press service of the SSU in the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk.

She stated, 'We have provided relevant recommendations to local authorities. When a decision is made, it will be announced. We did not insist on restricting people's movements on May 8-9, but we recommend limiting mass gatherings of people.
