A postage stamp was redeemed in Kropyvnytskyi "Weapons of Victory. Peace with Ukraine"

In Kropyvnytskyi, within the premises of the central post office of PJSC "Ukrposhta," a special postal stamp cancellation event took place for the occasion of Defender of Ukraine Day, which is celebrated on October 1 this year. This event marked the ceremonial cancellation of the postage stamp "Weapon of Victory. The World with Ukraine," which is a part of the postal block of the same name. This information was provided by the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Pavlo Konopko, the Director of the Kropyvnytskyi Region of PJSC "Ukrposhta," Tetiana Kapustina, the First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Council, Yuriy Semenyuk, and the Kirovohrad Regional Military Commandant, Colonel Andriy Lysenko.

"Today, defenders include not only our military personnel but also doctors who save the lives of soldiers. They include municipal services workers who ensure the normal life of people in the conflict-affected territories under shelling, our brave energy workers who restore power supply after missile attacks, and the State Emergency Service personnel who clear mined areas. All of us are living with a dream of our victory, and I'm confident that with the Weapon of Victory, it will come closer sooner," said Pavlo Konopko during the event.

The postage stamps depict samples of foreign weapons provided to Ukraine by international coalition members and partner countries. The postal block is now available for purchase, and part of the proceeds from the sale of these stamps will go towards supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Ukrposhta" will use the funds to purchase drones for the military.
