A resident of Dnipropetrovsk region has been informed about suspicion for publicly denying Russian armed aggression. This was reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
Under the procedural guidance of the Novomoskovsk District Prosecutor's Office, a local resident has been informed about suspicion of collaborationist activity (Part 1 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, the suspect has been spreading posts and videos from pro-Russian groups on a banned social network since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia. In the anti-Ukrainian materials he posted, he denied Russia's armed aggression and called for cooperation with the aggressor state and its armed formations.
During a search at the place of residence of the "Russian world" supporter, a mobile phone and computer equipment with evidence of unlawful activity were seized.
According to the expert opinion, the publications spread by the man contain public denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, establishment and approval of temporary occupation, and public calls to support the decisions and actions of the aggressor state.
Pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings is being carried out by the employees of the Novomoskovsk District Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, with operational support from the Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.
