The Security Service (SSU) has gathered irrefutable evidence against a female collaborator who established a funding channel for the "DNR" militants, as reported by the press service.

In December of last year, the SSU counterintelligence detained her during counter-sabotage operations in the Odessa region.

According to the investigation, the offender is a local resident. Her two relatives joined the terrorist group "DNR Sparta" in 2016 and fought against the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the east of Ukraine.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, both militants joined the regular units of the Russian Southern Military District and participated in the capture of Mariupol and part of the Kherson region.

Upon learning about the low level of material and technical support for the occupying relatives, the woman voluntarily organized a fundraiser for them.

To do this, she posted messages with calls for financial assistance to the invaders in groups on messengers and prohibited social networks such as VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.

Additionally, she attached photos with the details of a Russian bank card belonging to a cohabitant of a warring relative.

Based on the collected evidence, the court found the perpetrator guilty of aiding an aggressor state under Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced her to 11 years and 4 months in prison with property confiscation.

The Security Service emphasizes the inevitability of punishment for crimes against our state. The investigation was conducted by SSU officers in the Odessa region under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutor's office.
