On August 22, the Russian occupation army shelled peaceful settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Sergiy Lysak, in his Telegram channel.

At dawn, an explosion was heard in Kryvyi Rih, where the Russian army had directed missiles. Preliminarily, there is information about one injured person, a local man. He received necessary medical assistance and will be treated on an outpatient basis at home.

The attack also caused damage to the homes of local residents, with 20 buildings affected. Additionally, the power transmission lines were damaged.

Furthermore, Russian forces attacked the Synelnykivsky district during the night of August 22 using a drone. The drone struck a private enterprise, resulting in a fire that was promptly extinguished by firefighters. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported.

Another strike by the enemy hit the Synelnykivsky district in the morning of August 22, damaging power transmission lines and other civilian infrastructure. Further details about these attacks are currently being clarified.

It is worth noting that on the evening of August 21, Russian forces also launched an attack on Nikopol and the Marganetska community, causing no casualties or injuries. Information regarding damage is still being verified.
