The SSU detained 4 more members of the Military Commissariat and the heads of military medical commissions who "earned" from evasions

In Kyiv, Odesa, and the Kharkiv region, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has arrested 4 military officials who were helping individuals evade conscription and flee abroad.

For money, these officials offered conscripts the opportunity to avoid mobilization based on fictitious medical documents claiming their unfitness for military service. The cost of these "services" could be as high as $10,000 per person, depending on the timeline for "resolving issues" and the financial capabilities of the clients.

In Odesa, SSU cyber specialists dismantled a corruption scheme connected to the local military medical commission secretary. Alongside a capital lawyer and two accomplices, they organized the large-scale distribution of counterfeit documents claiming unfitness for military service. They searched for clients across Ukraine and then registered them with the Odesa military enlistment office to "exempt" them from military service.

The secretary of this military medical commission and her accomplices have been arrested and are now facing suspicion. Decisions regarding preventive measures are underway.

Furthermore, SSU operatives in Kyiv arrested the head of a district military enlistment office and the head of one of the capital's military medical commissions, who were selling fake medical certificates claiming serious medical conditions. Conscripts used these for evading conscription and departing from Ukraine.

In the Kharkiv region, the head of a district military enlistment office was arrested for making over 11 million hryvnias through potential conscripts. He involved three employees from the local hospital in this unlawful activity, and they would "discover" health issues in conscripts, which served as the formal basis for their removal from military registration.

Investigations into all the exposed facts are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the crime and hold the perpetrators accountable. These criminals could face up to 10 years in prison and property confiscation.
