Yesterday, on June 5th, the enemy once again struck Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. This information was reported by the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service (DSNS) in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

- The aggressor shelled Nikopol again. They used heavy artillery. Shells damaged 9 private houses, completely destroying one. Outbuildings, cars, and power lines were also damaged, according to the report.

In addition, a gymnasium and a sports school were damaged. Fortunately, according to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, there were no fatalities or injuries.

At night, the enemy shelled the Myrivska community with "Grad" rockets and shelled Chervonohryhorivka and Nikopol with heavy artillery. The city of Nikopol suffered the most. This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

In Nikopol, 5 multi-story buildings, a children's playground, cars, and a gas pipeline were damaged.

There were no injuries reported in these incidents.

Defenders from the Air Command "East" shot down two "Shahed" drones and a cruise missile over the region.

Overall, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the past day, the enemy launched 4 missile strikes and 64 aerial strikes, conducted 64 artillery shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas using rocket artillery systems. Unfortunately, in addition to the damaged infrastructure, civilians were affected.
