On August 6th, over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a Russian reconnaissance drone, "Orlan-10," was shot down. The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported this. "We marked the drone as 'down.' The enemy's 'Orlan-10' was destroyed over the region. Our airspace defenders are vigilantly guarding the skies, and their work is flawless," said the head of the region.

In total, from August 5th to 6th, air defense forces shot down 13 X-101/X-555 missiles, 17 "Calibr" cruise missiles, and 27 Iranian "Shahed-136/131" combat drones. This information was provided by the Ukrainian Air Force. During the first wave of attacks in the evening of August 5th, the enemy used 14 sea-based "Calibr" cruise missiles and three air-launched hypersonic X-47 "Kinjal" missiles. Air defense systems successfully destroyed 12 out of 14 "Calibr" missiles, and information regarding the "Kinjal" missiles was not disclosed.

During the night of August 6th, the enemy continued to attack with "Shahed-136/131" combat drones from the southeast, "Calibr" cruise missiles from the Black Sea, and X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea region. In total, during these few hours of attacks from the evening of August 5th to the morning of August 6th, the enemy deployed 70 aerial attack assets.
