Cherkasy builders restore Kherson's Ivanivka

Recovery efforts are underway in villages in the Kherson region, which Cherkasy has taken under its patronage. Specifically, in Ivanivka, 32 houses have already been restored, and an additional 26 are currently in the process of being repaired. This information was shared by Igor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration (OVА).

As he explained, one of the brigades is working on Victory Street in Ivanivka. They started with the roofs, which were heavily damaged by shells and shrapnel. Despite the challenging work, everyone is motivated to rebuild the village, and they can already see life returning to Ivanivka.

Among the volunteer builders is Vladyslav Posmiukha, who came to Kherson from Uman with his brigade. He expressed his awe at the devastation in the area and the resilience of the local residents. He mentioned that the desire to help and rebuild what the Russians had destroyed is overwhelming.

Igor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration, expressed his gratitude to everyone contributing to the restoration of Kherson.

The national project "Shoulder to Shoulder" emphasizes unity and collaboration between regions to help the communities in the Kherson region that were most affected during the occupation. Cherkasy is providing support to three villages: Ivanivka, Novopetrivka, and Mykolaivka.
