The Security Service of Ukraine has informed former MP from the Party of Regions in Odessa, Igor Markov, about suspicion. According to the SBU press service, they have gathered new evidence of the guilt of former members of parliament, including Oleg Tsarev, Dmitry Svyatash, and Igor Markov, who facilitated Russia in waging aggressive war against Ukraine. Currently, they are hiding from justice within the territory of the aggressor country.

Based on the new evidence, SSU investigators have informed all three individuals about suspicion under Article 111, Part 2, of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed under conditions of martial law).

Former MP and member of the Party of Regions, Igor Markov, regularly justified Russia's armed aggression against our state. Videos of his provocative speeches were repeatedly shown on central Russian television channels.

SBU investigators have additionally classified Markov's criminal actions under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Article 436 (propaganda of war) and Article 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

It should be noted that the Security Service had previously informed these individuals about suspicion in committing other crimes against Ukraine's state security.
