The 28-year-old Ukrainian tennis player from Odessa, Elina Svitolina, emerged victorious at the WTA250-level tournament in Strasbourg, France. The world's number one extra racket defeated Russian player Anna Blinkova in the final, who was competing under a neutral status.

Svitolina and Blinkova faced each other for the first time in their careers. For Elina, this marked her 20th final at the WTA level and her first since returning to tennis. For Anna, this was her second final in her career, with her first victory.

On her way to the final, Svitolina overcame four opponents (winning three matches, while one opponent withdrew before the game). This was the first such series for the Ukrainian since her return, and in the final, she managed to extend her winning streak to five matches in a row.

Elina Svitolina began the match by taking a 3-0 lead with two breaks and then lost one of her service games (3:2). However, she went on to win three consecutive games, ultimately winning the first set 6:2.

At the start of the second set, the match saw its longest game as the first game on Svitolina's serve lasted over 15 minutes, but the Ukrainian managed to win it. She once again took a 3-0 lead with two breaks, similar to the first set. Afterward, Svitolina lost her serve twice but managed to break Blinkova once, leading 4:3 (with one break). She then secured two consecutive games, closing the match with a score of 6:3 in the second set.

Elina Svitolina won the final in two sets, with scores of 6:2, 6:3.
