Within the framework of the third Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, a presentation of a new project called "International Medical Partnership" took place, which is being implemented under the patronage of the Summit. Immediately, 25 memorandums on medical partnership between Ukrainian and foreign medical institutions were signed by 14 Ministers of Health and the head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Viktor Lyashko.

The founder of the Summit, the First Lady Olena Zelenska, emphasized that Russia constantly shells the territory of our country and has damaged 1,427 hospitals. Therefore, it is very important for Ukrainian medical institutions to have reliable friends who can help with equipment or experience. Ukrainian medical institutions, with their current experience in saving lives in extreme conditions, also have valuable knowledge to share with the world.

"We always strive to hold each Summit with specific and effective results for saving lives. I am pleased to say that the current one is no exception. Furthermore, we are removing the last barriers to medical assistance. There should be no obstacle between the patient and their salvation. And salvation always requires cooperation," said the President's wife.
Ukrainian hospitals have twinned with eight French medical institutions, two each from Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, and North Macedonia, as well as leading hospitals in Poland, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Ireland, Sweden, Spain, Canada, Israel, and the Netherlands. On the Ukrainian side, partner medical institutions include healthcare facilities from Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, and Zakarpattia regions.

Children's hospitals have partnered with medical institutions in Denmark, the Netherlands, Israel, Spain, Latvia, Poland, and France. Rehabilitation centers will cooperate with Lithuanian, Latvian, and Swedish institutions. Medical facilities providing mental health services have established partnerships with hospitals in France, North Macedonia, and Canada. University and multifunctional hospitals will collaborate with medical institutions from Austria, Ireland, Estonia, North Macedonia, and Moldova.

Viktor Lyashko expressed his gratitude to Olena Zelenska and the Summit for their attention to healthcare and the concrete results achieved in this direction.

"More than 13,000 tons of medical humanitarian aid, hundreds of pieces of equipment, medical vehicles – each Summit provides specific support to medical institutions in Ukraine," he noted during his speech at the event.

Viktor Lyashko also emphasized that a joint statement of the ministers from 14 countries outlines four main areas of cooperation:
