Banks provided more than 140 billion UAH in affordable loans to businesses during martial law
Banks provided more than 140 billion UAH in affordable loans to businesses during martial law Ukraine news 14 Sep 2023 at 11:00

Since February 24, 2022, under the state program “Affordable loans 5-7-9%” 36.7 thousand loan agreements in the total amount of UAH 141.9 billion have been concluded. The Government portal reported.


In particular, during this period, banks granted loans to entrepreneurs:

– for anti-war purposes – 55.28 billion UAH

– to agricultural producers – 36.75 billion UAH;

– anti-crisis loans – 7.94 billion UAH;

– for investment purposes – 6.99 billion UAH;

– UAH 4.06 billion for refinancing of previously obtained loans.

The government program was launched in February 2020. Since then, 71,500 loans of 231.6 billion UAH have been granted.

Since March this year, the program “Affordable Loans 5-7-9%” has been available for entrepreneurs from the territories of possible hostilities and de-occupied territories. The Ministry of Reintegration developed this initiative to provide financial support for businesses and economic recovery in the affected regions.
