In the Kherson region, 200 workers from municipal enterprises from thirteen regions of Ukraine are working. They have come to help the residents of Kherson in dealing with the consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Station by Russian terrorists. This was reported by Oleksiy Kuleba, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Oleksiy Kuleba added that in Kherson, doctors, rescuers, and volunteers from different parts of Ukraine are working these days. They are also forming teams of gas workers and power engineers who will work on restoring the destroyed infrastructure in the Kherson region.

As for the municipal workers, they are cleaning up garbage, clearing roads from mud, and pumping water from flooded areas. They use thirty pieces of municipal equipment such as tractors, loaders, dump trucks, garbage trucks, and excavators, which other regions of the country have provided for the restoration of the Kherson region.

The workers come from Bukovina, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Volyn, Ternopil, Zakarpattia, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Kirovohrad, and Lviv regions.

Previously, in Kirovohrad region, volunteers, entrepreneurs, and government representatives united to help those affected by the explosion of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Station. They sent containers and about ten tons of water to the Kherson region. They also provided water purification tablets. The organization "BIM" from Kropyvnytskyi is involved in evacuating animals from the affected areas of the Kherson region.
