A celebratory event marking the 120th anniversary of the M.V. Lysenko Poltava College of Arts took place at the college. The event was attended by representatives of the Poltava Regional State Administration, including Igor Panchenko, the deputy head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, and Alexander Lemeshko, the first deputy chairman of the regional council.

Igor Panchenko praised the college's dedicated team of professionals, emphasizing that people join the college not just to work but out of a heartfelt calling. He acknowledged that art is not just about a job but a creative development and inspiration. He expressed his gratitude to the college's team for their devoted work and commitment to their mission, highlighting the college as a symbol of the cultural diversity of the city and Ukraine.

Over the course of 120 years, the college has educated over 6,000 students, including People's and Honored Artists of Ukraine, distinguished figures in the arts, and laureates of the National Taras Shevchenko Prize for their significant contributions to the development of Ukrainian national musical art.

In recognition of their substantial personal contributions to the development of Ukrainian national musical art and their long-standing, conscientious work in preparing highly qualified professionals in the field of culture, representatives of the college's team were awarded honorary certificates from the regional administration.

This celebration marks a significant milestone in the history of the M.V. Lysenko Poltava College of Arts, honoring its rich tradition of nurturing talent and promoting cultural development.
