The International Humanitarian Organization is starting to work in Poltava Oblast

In Novi Sanzhary, Poltava Oblast, the international humanitarian organization Handicap International has started its activities. This information was reported by the Novosanzharska Village Council.

As part of the activities of the Regional Coordination Council with international humanitarian, donor organizations, and international technical assistance projects that deal with the issues of internally displaced persons, an introductory meeting was held between the head of the Novosanzhary Village Gennadiy Suprun and the International humanitarian organization Handicap International/ Humanity&Inclusion (HI), which supports vulnerable populations, especially people with disabilities.

During the meeting, they discussed conducting activities related to protection, rehabilitation, the provision of psychological and psychosocial support services, and education about the risks associated with explosive objects for all categories of the population in need. They also outlined strategies for addressing important issues and the needs of vulnerable citizens and internally displaced persons.
