On July 1st at 3:00 PM, the eighth Field Kitchen Festival will begin in the Central Park named after M. Leontovych in Vinnytsia. The festival is dedicated to Constitution Day of Ukraine and the memory of the heroes who lost their lives in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The organizers plan to donate the funds raised for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the purchase of a vehicle, a generator, and a starling. According to ilikenews, "We are already holding the eighth Field Kitchen Festival in memory of Taras Sich. The main purpose of this event is to honor the memory of our heroes and to draw the attention of the city's residents and guests to military events," said Eugene Maidanik, the director of the City Palace of Arts.
At the festival, all those interested will have the opportunity to taste field kitchen dishes, street food, and traditional national dishes prepared on campfires. There will also be demonstrations of military training and first aid, as well as exhibition exhibits. The festival will include a patriotic concert program featuring local artists.
Entry to the festival grounds is free, but to receive a "festival plate" that allows you to taste dishes prepared by participants, guests will need to make a charitable contribution. All funds collected will be directed to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Children of fallen heroes, with the assistance of the jewelry house "DIADEMA," will receive the "festival plate" for free.
