The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) has successfully thwarted the information subversion activities of 11 pro-Russian internet agitators in various regions of Ukraine. The law enforcement operations were conducted in the following areas:

1. In Kyiv: SSU's counterintelligence officers uncovered a resident of the capital who was advocating for a "union with Russia." To disseminate this idea widely, he created and personally managed several groups on platforms like Facebook, Telegram, and Viber.

2. In Mykolaiv: A cleric from a local church affiliated with the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) was suspected of publicly calling on the religious community to support Russian occupiers in the war against Ukraine.

3. In Dnipropetrovsk Region: SSU blocked the subversive activities of two more hostile agitators. One of them turned out to be an employee of a critical infrastructure facility in Dnipro, while the other worked for an aviation company in Kryvyi Rih. These individuals were found praising Russia's military-political leadership and discrediting Ukrainian defenders on various social media platforms.

4. In Kirovohrad Region: A network of Russian internet propagandists, including five residents of the region, was neutralized. They created their platform on "Odnoklassniki" to disseminate destructive content, describing Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine as a "struggle against fascism" and encouraging local residents to join the ranks of the occupying forces of the aggressor country.

5. In Vinnytsia: Two local residents were exposed for glorifying the "exploits" of terrorists and proposing to install monuments to Kadyrov on the banned social media platform "Odnoklassniki."

Investigations are ongoing to determine all the circumstances of these crimes and hold the perpetrators accountable. These comprehensive measures were carried out by SSU employees in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, and Mykolaiv regions under the procedural guidance of the prosecution authorities.
