In which regions of Ukraine will the first toll roads appear

The first toll roads in Ukraine may be introduced in the regions of Odesa, Dnipro, Kyiv, Lviv, and Poltava. Mustafa Nayyem, the head of the State Agency for Restoration, made this announcement during a roundtable discussion on "Transport, Logistics, and Infrastructure" held at the Ukraine Reform Conference (URC) in London, as reported by odessa.comments.

"We are currently preparing feasibility studies (TEO) for Dnipro, Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa, and Poltava regions, and these studies are currently being funded by the state budget. The total cost of the project is estimated to be around $6.5 billion," Nayyem stated.

He emphasized that this project is one of the most promising in Ukraine and has been in development since before the full-scale invasion. While the invasion has not yet occurred, a bill has been registered that allows for such initiatives.

The project's implementation aims to begin as soon as partners are secured. Interested companies from the European Union have already expressed their intent to participate.

According to the State Agency's estimates, the overall project cost could be around $6.5 billion.
