Seventeen-year-old Oksana Melnyk, a student at the Ladyzhyn Vocational College of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, has become the world champion in martial arts among athletes with musculoskeletal impairments. This information was provided by Lyudmyla Holovashych, the Head of the Haisyn Regional State Administration.

The competition took place in an online format, with Oksana achieving the first-place title. As a prize winner, Oksana received a diploma and a medal. Winning the championship was a pleasant surprise for her.

Oksana has been practicing martial arts for six years. She is currently in her first year, studying the specialization of "Accounting and Taxation." Her group's curator, Lyudmyla Sharubey, is responsible for physical education, and her coach is Serhiy Brushnytskyi.
