On May 6th, both during the day and at night, the occupiers shelled the city of Nikopol and the communities of Marganetska, Pokrovska, and Myrivska districts with artillery and multiple rocket launchers 'Grad.' As a result of the enemy's shelling, one person was killed, and there are injured.
This was reported by the police of Dnipropetrovsk region on May 7th.
"In Nikopol, enemy shells took the life of a 71-year-old woman, and 7 other people sustained injuries and injuries. The infrastructure of the city has been destroyed and damaged - private residential buildings, a multi-story building, an educational institution, economic structures, the territory of an industrial enterprise, a solar power station, motor transport, gas supply lines, and power grids," the statement said.
As a result of daytime shelling of the settlement in the Pokrovska community, a 69-year-old woman was injured. Enemy artillery hit and damaged an educational institution, 5 private residential buildings, an economic structure, power lines, and a gas pipeline.
In the Myrivska community, a 44-year-old local resident was injured. Two private houses and a car were also damaged.
Two more villages of the Marganetska community were also under enemy fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Currently, law enforcement officers continue their investigative actions within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
