At night, the artillery fire consumed Nikopol

Every night, the aggressor is targeting the Nikopol region. This time, Nikopol was shelled, as reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.

Projectiles from heavy artillery hit the city. People are unharmed. The extent of the damage is being assessed.

According to the General Staff, during the night of June 30, 2023, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine from the southeast direction. They launched attacks using 13 kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type from the eastern coast of the Sea of Azov, as well as four guided anti-aircraft missiles from the S-300 air defense system.

Ukrainian air defense forces successfully destroyed 10 out of the 13 "Shahed" kamikaze drones.

Over the past day, the enemy launched 6 guided anti-aircraft missiles from the S-300 at civilian infrastructure objects in the cities of Zaporizhia and Chuguyiv. Additionally, in the past day, the enemy conducted 29 airstrikes and fired 60 salvos from multiple rocket launch systems on Ukrainian military positions and civilian areas.

The likelihood of missile and aerial attacks across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high, as emphasized by the General Staff.
