From half a dozen shells: at night, the occupiers shelled Dnipropetrovsk region

During the night of July 1st, Russian invaders shelled Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery. The community of Marganets in the Nikopol district was hit by over a dozen shells. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

"This night, the Marganets community in Nikopol was shelled," the official wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the head of the administration, around a dozen shells from heavy artillery landed in the area. There were no civilian casualties reported.

Rescue teams are currently assessing the area to determine the extent of the damage caused by the shelling.

It's important to note that Russian invaders targeted Sumy region 14 times in the past day, resulting in injuries to a young man.

Additionally, this marks the 493rd day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. Over the last day, the aggressor conducted eight missile and 58 airstrikes, carried out over 50 artillery attacks using multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian forces, military and civilian infrastructure in the Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, and Kherson regions.

A school in Serhiivka, Donetsk region, was entirely destroyed due to a missile strike by the Russian invaders using a land-based Iskander-K missile, resulting in two civilian deaths and six injuries. In Antonivka, Kherson region, a family with a child was wounded when Russian occupiers shelled a residential building. Overall, nearly 30 civilian residential buildings were damaged as a result of these attacks.
