Russians shelled Nikopol once again: houses destroyed

On July 9th, due to Russian shelling, the city of Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region experienced damage to four private houses and an equal number of outbuildings. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

The Russian strikes from heavy artillery also caused damage to the power transmission lines.

In other cities, towns, and villages in the Dnipropetrovsk region, there were no incidents. It remained quiet without shelling.

On July 8th, Russian forces launched another missile and aviation strike on Ukrainian territory, using guided anti-aircraft missiles from the S-300 air defense missile system and Iranian drones of the "Shahed" type. This information was provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As a result of the combat actions of Ukraine's air defense forces, five of these strike drones were destroyed. Some of the kamikaze drones hit industrial and infrastructure facilities in the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions.

The Russian army also conducted 52 airstrikes and carried out about 60 shelling incidents using reactive multiple launch rocket systems. For instance, as a result of the shelling by Russian military forces in Lyman, eight civilians were killed, and thirteen were wounded. The probability of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.
