According to preliminary information, two minibusses collided on the N-23 highway near Kropyvnytskyi. Two people were killed at the scene as a result of the injuries sustained.
According to rescuers, at 13:50, the Rescue Service 101 received a report of a road accident on the N-23 highway 'Kropyvnytskyi-Kryvyi Rih' near the village of Bratoliubivka in Kropyvnytskyi district.
As a result of the collision between two minibusses (one of them being a regular passenger minibus on the Kyiv-Kryvyi Rih route, and the other being a civilian cargo van), one person was killed. Another person died on the way to the hospital.
Rescuers extricated three people from the vehicles. The rescued individuals were handed over to the emergency medical services.
A total of 17 people sought medical assistance. Doctors will examine them to determine the extent of their injuries.
The operation involves units from the 20th State Fire and Rescue Unit in Dolynska and the 27th Fire and Rescue Unit in Novhorodka. The incident is classified as a technogenic emergency at the local level.
Currently, the police are investigating the circumstances and causes of the road accident.
