On July 21, in the afternoon, the Russian occupying army launched missile strikes on Odessa Oblast. The head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, reported this.
The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district was under attack. The target of the Russian forces was an important infrastructure object, and they fired seven missiles at it, causing damage to the facility.
According to the reports from the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supersonic anti-ship missiles "Oniks" were used in the attack on Odessa Oblast.
These missiles are difficult to intercept with existing air defense systems, as they fly low and fast.
This marks the second attack by the Russians on Odessa Oblast on July 21. Additionally, on the same day, the occupiers fired "Kalibr" missiles at grain terminals of one of the agricultural enterprises in Odessa Oblast. The Russian terrorists destroyed 100 tons of peas and 20 tons of barley. As a result of the missile strike, the windows of the buildings were shattered, and two people were injured.
