In the city of Dnipro, a priest from the Moscow Patriarchate will be brought to trial.

The Dnipro city court will be trying a priest from the Moscow Patriarchate who is accused of corrupting his daughters and producing child pornography.

The Dnipro Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against the former rector of a church belonging to the Moscow Patriarchate, charging him with the corruption of minors and the production and possession of child pornography without the intention of distribution. This information was reported by the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the investigation, the priest lived with his two underage daughters after the death of his wife. Over a prolonged period, the accused engaged in lewd actions towards the children, who were 13 and 12 years old at the time.

The priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate was arrested in April 2023. He is currently in custody, and the children have been taken away from him and temporarily placed with their godmother's family.
