Odesa region joins "Side by Side" project responsible for restoration of Kherson region

Odessa region has joined the "Shoulder to Shoulder" project, which helps in the restoration of the Kherson region. According to the press service of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, 25 contracts have already been signed in the settlements of the Chornobaivska territorial community and five contracts with the Velykooleksandrivska territorial community.

The allocated funds have been used to purchase necessary building materials. Restoration work on three residential buildings in the village of Kyselivka and two residential buildings in the village of Blahodatne of the Chornobaivska territorial community has commenced this week.

A total of 12 construction workers have been employed in Kyselivka, and six construction workers in Blahodatne. In the village of Novodmytrivka, due to logistical challenges, the delivery of building materials is expected, and the materials have already been ordered. Currently, three workers have started preparatory work there.

The Odessa Regional Military Administration has also transferred 5 million hryvnias to the Kherson Regional State Administration: 1.5 million hryvnias to the Velykooleksandrivska village council and 3.5 million hryvnias to the Chornobaivska village council. An additional 15 million hryvnias are planned to be allocated.

An additional 23 million hryvnias from the regional budget are planned for the restoration of social infrastructure objects.
