Poltava emergency services receive two new ambulances

The Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine has received two modern Citroen ambulances. The vehicles were purchased by the state enterprise "Medzakupivli" and distributed by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. This information was shared by the Poltava Regional State Administration.

"These are modern sanitary vehicles belonging to the Class C category. Their main advantage is the presence of equipment that allows for resuscitation measures. The ambulances are equipped with everything necessary for this purpose, including oxygen cylinders, stretchers, cardiac monitors, defibrillators, electrocardiographs, and lung ventilators," said Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional State Administration.

"The ambulances will transport patients who require infusion support and transportation on a lung ventilator," added Dmytro Lavrenko, the director of the Poltava Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.

Currently, the new emergency vehicles are in the registration phase. After being put into operation, they will be deployed to provide assistance to residents across the entire region. They will be used by specialized terminal brigades operating in all districts of Poltava Oblast.
