Ukrainian veterans and those who have contributed to their homeland will receive a one-time financial assistance before Ukraine's Independence Day. This announcement was made by the Chief of the Vinnytsia Regional Veterans Affairs Office, Serhiy Borzov.
According to the head of the Vinnytsia region, the state will provide a one-time financial payment to veterans of the war, victims of Nazi persecution, and citizens who have special merits to their homeland and have distinguished themselves in defending their country.
The assistance will be given to:
Persons with disabilities as a result of the war and former underage prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, recognized as persons with disabilities due to general illness, labor mutilation, and other reasons – from 2700 to 3100 UAH.
Participants in combat actions, victims among the participants of the Revolution of Dignity, former underage prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, as well as children born in these places of forced detention to their parents – 1,000 UAH.
Individuals who have special merits to their homeland – 3,100 UAH.
Family members of deceased (deceased) war veterans, spouses (husbands) of deceased persons with disabilities due to the war, spouses (husbands) of deceased participants in combat actions, war veterans, and victims of Nazi persecution recognized as disabled due to general illness, labor mutilation, and other reasons, who did not remarry – 650 UAH.
Participants in the war and former prisoners of concentration camps, ghettos, and other places of forced detention, individuals who were forcibly taken for forced labor, children of partisans, underground fighters, and other participants in the struggle against the National Socialist regime behind enemy lines – 450 UAH.
