How to get financial aid for the children of fallen soldiers who go to the first grade

In Vinnytsia, the city authorities will provide financial assistance to the children of deceased soldiers who will enter the first grade this year. To receive the funds, parents or guardians should contact the Department of Social Protection at their place of residence.

Who can receive the assistance and the amount:

The financial assistance will be provided to members of the Vinnytsia community or persons recognized as such who had a family member die in the war. Such families should be registered with the Department of Social Policy.

The assistance will be provided for each first-grader, and they will receive 5,000 hryvnias each.

How to apply for assistance for a child:

The mother, father, or guardian of the child should submit the following documents to the Department of Social Protection at their place of registration:

Application addressed to the Mayor.
A copy of the applicant's identification document (passport or ID card) and proof of residence registration.
A copy of the registration number of the taxpayer's card or a certificate of refusal to issue it for the applicant.
A copy of a document confirming the relationship between the child and the applicant (birth certificate, adoption certificate, or documents confirming guardianship or custody).
A copy of the child's residence registration.
A copy of the certificate of using benefits according to Article 15 of the Law "On the Status of War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection" for the child.
A certificate from the general education institution confirming the child's enrollment in the first grade.
A certificate confirming the opening of a personal bank account for the applicant.

All copies of documents must be certified with originals.
