Military and civilian medics, volunteers, and healthcare institution leaders in Kirovohrad region were awarded the "Order of Saint Panteleimon" in recognition of their selfless service, high professionalism, and civic virtues during Ukraine's struggle for independence.
The winners of the regional selection, who received corresponding diplomas, include Andriy Oleshko, an emergency care physician and the head of substation No. 3 in the city of Svitlovodsk at the Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine Center, and Serhiy Petrovych, the Chief Sergeant and the head of the medical unit of the "East" special operations detachment.
Honorary diplomas were presented to the following individuals:
1. Oleksandr Lavrov - surgeon at the Regional Clinical Hospital for War Veterans.
2. Nadiya Operchuk - Director-General of the Kirovohrad Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
3. Tetiana Petriv - Senior Medical Nurse at the Traumatology and Orthopedics Department of the Regional Clinical Children's Hospital.
4. Svitlana Pravda - Medical Director of the Regional Clinical Children's Hospital.
5. Kostyantyn Churpiy - Chief Physician of Malovyskivska Hospital.
Collective awards were also presented to the following groups:
1. Regional Hospital - Director-General Larysa Andriyeva.
2. City Ambulance Hospital - Director-General Ruslan Ivanov.
3. Mariupol Military Hospital - Chief Taras Skryha.
4. 3rd Regiment of Special Purpose named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave, Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.
5. Volunteers from the students of Kirovohrad Medical College named after Mukhin.
6. International Charitable Fund "Angel of Life."
These awards acknowledge their outstanding contributions in the field of medicine and healthcare during a challenging period in Ukraine.
