Russia attacked Ukraine's territory using combat UAVs of the "Shahed" type

During the past day, the Russian Federation conducted another massive aerial attack on Ukraine, employing combat UAVs of the "Shahed" type. Almost all of the drones were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders. However, there were casualties among the civilian population, and private residential houses, along with other civilian and administrative infrastructure, were damaged. In total, during the past day, the enemy delivered 64 aviation and 1 missile strikes and carried out 88 shelling attacks from multiple rocket launch systems.

The opponent continues to focus its main efforts on the attempt to fully occupy the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. In the past day, the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 22 enemy attacks.

On the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a reconnaissance and sabotage group across the State border of Ukraine near the village of Zelene in the Kharkiv region.

In the temporarily occupied Yalta of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Russian occupational authorities are illegally confiscating property from Ukrainian citizens who did not accept Russian citizenship during the period of the peninsula's occupation. These dwellings are being occupied by Russian occupational troops.

The occupiers continue to impose Russian citizenship on the population in various ways. For instance, in Stanitsa Luhanska, employees of a state institution were warned that in June, they will only receive their salaries if they re-register with a Russian bank.

The aviation of the Ukrainian defense forces delivered 11 strikes on areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were concentrated during the past day, including a strike on the enemy's air defense missile system.

During the past day, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 32 "Shahed" combat UAVs.

Units of the missile forces and artillery hit 3 command centers, the area where enemy troops were concentrated, 4 artillery units in firing positions, an air defense missile system, 3 fuel and lubricant storage facilities, and a radio-electronic warfare station.

In total, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated 476 Russian occupants, 3 combat armored vehicles, 15 artillery systems, one anti-aircraft missile system, 32 operational-tactical-level UAVs, and 11 vehicles.
