Dmytro Lunin, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported on how Poltava region can assist.

"Law enforcement and rescue teams from Poltava have joined the rescue efforts in the territory of Kherson region. They have sent equipment and personnel. Poltava region is also ready to accommodate evacuees. We have the capacity to provide housing for 6,000 people in compact living areas with food supply. We are organizing the collection of drinking water and humanitarian aid. We are providing financial support, including the allocation of 10 million hryvnias from the regional budget. We are collaborating with representatives of the Kherson region authorities," said Lunin.
