The "Aurora" store chain, founded in Poltava, is helping to rebuild the house of Sasha from Mykolaiv region, who became a hero in the Imagine Dragons music video.

In particular, a teenager from Novohryhorivka appeared in the video for the Imagine Dragons' song "Crushed." Director Ty Arnold personally met Sasha and persuaded him to be part of the Imagine Dragons video. This way, the world saw the extent of the destruction caused by Russian occupiers and learned the story of the 14-year-old boy.

Sasha's destroyed house has recently begun reconstruction. According to the UNITED24 governmental platform, whose ambassador is the Imagine Dragons band, the house will be rebuilt by the platform's partner, the "Aurora" multistore network.

"It's crushing me" — these feelings arise from the scenes in the Imagine Dragons video for "Crushed." This is what millions of Ukrainians feel daily due to the horrors and ruthlessness of the war. Sasha and his family were offered to relocate from the completely ruined village occupied by invaders to a safe place and start a new life. However, they dream of staying at their own home, on their native land, as this is where their heart is. "Aurora Multistore," along with UNITED24, has taken on the responsibility of returning Sasha and his family to their home before the arrival of winter. We will never bring back the lives and health of our fallen or wounded heroes, but together, after victory, we will rebuild everything forever, shattering the chains of the empire of oppression and evil," shared Taras Panasenko, the co-founder and CEO of the Aurora multistore network, on his Facebook page.

The house has now been demolished to build a new one since Sasha refused to move anywhere and did not want another house or apartment to be purchased for him. The boy wants to continue living in his native village.

The "Aurora" multistore network has decided to allocate funds for the house's reconstruction. It is significantly damaged, and multiple parts need to be reconstructed from scratch. Additionally, they plan to add a few rooms and a veranda that Sasha's mother has always dreamed of. Builders promise that Sasha will be able to cross the threshold of his new-old house in a couple of months.
