On May 12th, the Dnipro police confiscated an arsenal of ammunition from a 43-year-old man. A resident of Pavlohrad was found to be in possession of a rocket-propelled anti-tank grenade, 2 RGD-5 hand grenades, 4 F-1 hand grenade bodies, and UZRGM-2 fuses in his car. This information was reported by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
On May 12th, officers from the Dnipro District Police Department conducted a court-sanctioned search of the car belonging to the 43-year-old resident of Pavlohrad. During the search, law enforcement officers seized ammunition from the vehicle and sent it for expert examination. The man was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Police officers are currently investigating the origin of the confiscated ammunition.
On May 12th, investigators from the district police department informed the detainee about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition, or explosive substances) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The question of applying a preventive measure to the man is being considered.
