A civil servant from the State Emergency Service (DSNS) in Kirovohrad Oblast has been charged with a suspicion of using a fraudulent scheme to help his family members obtain disability status in order to avoid mobilization. The investigation revealed that the suspect assisted in obtaining disability status for family members of an individual trying to avoid mobilization for a fee of $8,000 USD. He claimed to have connections with doctors who could help secure the disability status. The suspect's brother was involved in the transfer of money related to this scheme. Law enforcement authorities arrested the individuals involved after the transfer of $5,000 USD.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are looking into other instances of obtaining disability status using a similar scheme and the individuals involved. It's worth noting that similar cases involving individuals attempting to evade mobilization through illegal means have been reported in the past, including cases involving bribery and fraudulent medical assessments.
