The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine emphasizes that individuals who have participated in combat actions have the opportunity to receive specialized assistance for prosthetics and orthopedic devices, but this assistance is provided exclusively within the territory of Ukraine. In exceptional cases where necessary technologies are unavailable, there is a possibility of sending individuals abroad for prosthetic treatment. All of these services are provided free of charge.

Natalia Zabolotna, the First Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration (RSA), reported that 146 participants of hostilities, including ATO and UBD participants, have already been provided with prosthetic treatment in the Vinnytsia region.

Individuals in need of rehabilitation aids are provided with the opportunity to choose and receive assistance in the selection and acquisition of such aids, or they can receive compensation for their cost if they make the purchase independently. It's noted that the compensation amount for combat participants is three times higher than for civilians.

To receive assistance, individuals need to:

Contact the nearest Center for Administrative Services (ЦНАП) or the Social Protection Department.
Submit an application for the provision of rehabilitation aids or compensation.

This can be done either in paper form or online through the Electronic Cabinet of a Disabled Person or on the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services.

This process applies to all categories of individuals, including both military personnel and civilians.

For additional information and clarification regarding the procedure, you can contact the Vinnytsia region at the following number: (0432) 68-00-28.
