On August 15, the Russian occupying army shelled the Nikopol district and the Marganets community in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast three times. According to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, Sergiy Lysak, Russian forces used heavy artillery to target the Dnipropetrovsk region. A total of ten shells landed in the Nikopol district and the Marganets community.
Fortunately, there have been no reported casualties, only damage to agricultural structures. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast is currently assessing the aftermath of the Russian shelling.
It's worth noting that on August 15, Russians had previously launched a rocket attack in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, targeting an industrial facility in the city of Dnipro. Two individuals were injured during this attack: a 59-year-old woman with minor injuries who will receive treatment at home, and a 70-year-old man who was hospitalized in a moderate condition. The fire that broke out after the strike affected an area of over 800 square meters but has since been extinguished by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Additionally, an important sports facility in Ukraine suffered damage, including broken windows, a damaged façade, and internal walls.
