At night in Cherkasy region, air defense was working: what is known

"On the night of May 16, in Cherkasy, the Ukrainian air defense forces successfully shot down an enemy drone," announced Igor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

He praised the work of Ukrainian defenders and reported that the Russian forces attempted to strike the territory of Cherkasy. However, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully intercepted and shot down the enemy drone. There were no casualties or injuries reported.
