Ukraine will receive F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands and Denmark: Volodymyr Zelensky announced the number of aircraft

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Netherlands and Denmark and shared the joyful news regarding the supply of F-16 aircraft by foreign partners. He mentioned that Ukraine and Denmark have agreed on the number of F-16 aircraft to be provided, which is 42, and this is just the beginning. Additionally, Denmark will supply Ukraine with 19 F-16 aircraft. Ukrainian pilots and engineers have already started training alongside their Danish counterparts.

The President emphasized that these F-16 aircraft will be used to keep Russian terrorists away from Ukrainian cities and villages. The strengthening of Ukraine's airspace defense is a significant step in ensuring the country's security.

During his visit, President Zelensky had discussions with the Danish Prime Minister, Mette Frederiksen, and her team, aiming to expand training missions and accelerate the preparation process. Ukraine is grateful to Denmark for its support in enhancing Ukraine's aerial defense capabilities.
