The flag of Ukraine flew in Crimea: the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showed a video from a special operation

On the night of August 24, an operation was conducted by the Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MO) with the support of the Ukrainian Navy in the temporarily occupied Crimea. Special units landed on the shore in the areas of Olenivka and Mayak settlements.

This information was reported by the department's press service.

"During the execution of the task, Ukrainian defenders engaged in a clash with the occupier's units. As a result, the enemy suffered losses among personnel, and enemy equipment was destroyed. Additionally, the Ukrainian flag was raised again in Ukrainian Crimea," the statement reads.

All objectives and tasks were successfully accomplished. After completing the special operation, Ukrainian defenders left the scene without any losses.

The occupied administration of Crimea refrains from commenting on the events despite numerous appeals from local residents. The only information provided relates to the purported "destruction of ammunition according to the established schedule," as explained by GUR.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces will continue to assist the occupiers in the destruction of ammunition, equipment, and personnel."

It's worth mentioning that today, August 24, marks the 32nd anniversary of the declaration of Independence.

During the night of August 24, Russian forces striked Dnipro. According to the head of the regional military administration, as a result of the missile strike on Dnipro, 10 people were injured, and around ten objects were damaged, including a bank, gas station, hotel, agribusiness, furniture production facility, administrative building, and two residential houses.
