From the communities of Dnipropetrovsk region that are under shelling, residents and temporarily displaced elderly and disabled individuals are being evacuated. Already, 19 evacuation flights have departed from the region to western Ukraine over the past eight months. This information is reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

To move to a safer region of the country, all it takes is to submit a request. Transportation and accommodation are provided free of charge. The head of the Department of Social Welfare of the Regional State Administration, Hanna Schastlyvets, reminded that ten communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region are recognized as conflict zones, situated in the Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Kryvyi Rih districts. Priority for evacuation is given to people with disabilities and those over 60 years of age.

Evacuation from the region is voluntary. Those wishing to leave should contact their city or village council. The information is then passed on to the regional Department of Social Welfare, which forms evacuation groups.

On the appointed day, they leave for the western part of the country in a centralized manner. A separate railway car is allocated for these individuals, and a community representative accompanies them on the journey. Upon arrival, they are met by the receiving party and accommodated in sanatoriums and hospitals," explains Hanna Schastlyvets.
At their new places of residence, people are provided with medical services and three meals a day. So far, more than 470 residents of Dnipropetrovsk region and internally displaced persons who sought refuge in the region have utilized the opportunity to evacuate.

Recall that earlier in Dnipropetrovsk region, 9 million hryvnias were allocated to the residents of Pavlohrad who suffered as a result of rocket shelling. In the city, 24 multi-story buildings and 80 private estates were damaged due to the shelling. With the funds received from the budget, people will be able to replace broken windows and doors or repair damaged roofs.
