During the current day, Russian occupiers attacked populated areas in the Dnipropetrovsk region using heavy artillery and drones. The strikes affected the towns in the Nikopol district, including Nikopol, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivska, Marhanetska, and Pokrovska communities. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but the explosions damaged a five-story building, an administrative building, three private residential houses, and an outbuilding. This information is reported by the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, referring to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU).
Rescuers from the SESU in Dnipropetrovsk region are inspecting the impact areas, assessing the consequences of the attacks, and determining the extent of the damage.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the day, the enemy carried out 3 missile strikes, 30 airstrikes, and approximately 8 shelling incidents with multiple rocket launcher systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. There are casualties among the civilian population, and private residential houses and other civilian infrastructure have been destroyed or damaged.
As a reminder, Russian occupation forces previously launched missile strikes on the Dnipropetrovsk region. Air Defense units from the "East" Air Command managed to intercept seven enemy missiles, but there were impacts on civilian infrastructure. There were casualties, including children. In the Pavlohrad district, it was reported that 25 people were injured, including three children. In the city of Pavlohrad, the enemy targeted an industrial facility, resulting in a fire that was later extinguished by firefighters. In the residential sector of the city, 19 multi-story buildings, 25 private houses, 6 educational institutions, and 5 stores were damaged due to the strikes.
