A 59-year-old man died as a result of shelling in Nikopol

Today, on August 25, the occupiers launched five attacks on the Nikopol district. During the latest shelling, a man was killed. This information was reported by the head of the regional council, Mykola Lukashuk.

It is known that a 59-year-old man was killed in the evening of August 25 due to the shelling. Two houses and a car were damaged in the city, and electric and gas lines were also damaged.

During the day, Russian soldiers used heavy artillery to shell Nikopol and the Marganetska community. They also dropped ammunition from drones. There were no reported casualties among the residents.

On August 25, 2023, the Russian army attacked the Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast during the night. In Nikopol, agricultural enterprises and power lines were damaged due to shelling from Grad rockets and heavy artillery. More than 700 families were left without electricity. In the morning, the city was attacked again, and the Marganetska community was also shelled. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Additionally, on Friday, August 25, Russian occupiers conducted two nighttime attacks in the Odessa region. In total, the enemy launched four missiles. The occupiers carried out two waves of attacks, but the air defense forces demonstrated 100% effectiveness in intercepting and destroying all the missiles.
