Recently, in the Pyriatyn community, a mini-factory for processing vegetable and berry products has started operating. This project was brought to life by a local resident, Svitlana Petrovska.

This information is reported on the Pyriatyn community's page.

With the support of local authorities and the "Development Agency of the Pyriatyn Community" municipal enterprise, the local entrepreneur became one of the eight winners of the nationwide competition "Orchards for Victory" and received approximately 250,000 hryvnias. The grant funds were used to purchase a sublimation dryer, a dehydrator for meat, fruits, pastilles, and dried bread. The Petrovsky family spent 50,000 hryvnias on arranging a mini-factory premises and purchasing equipment.

"We produce products exclusively from our local fruits and berries, which we purchase from local producers and entrepreneurs. It is important for us that the products we offer to consumers are tasty and healthy, so we focus on high-quality raw materials," says Svitlana Petrovska.

The process of making the first batches of fruit and berry pastilles has recently begun. Residents of Pyriatyn now have the opportunity to taste products under the brand "Leguminka" in local cafes.

The entrepreneur has ambitious plans to expand production by hiring labor and diversifying the range of products, starting with the production of fruit leather, churchkhela, meat jerky, and dried vegetable soups.

The project attracts the attention of partners and serves as an example to follow. It is also a good example that even in times of war, one can work on strengthening the economic capacity of our country by supporting people who are starting their own businesses.
