On August 23, in the Odesa region, an investigation into the terrorist attack by the Russian Federation was launched. This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the prosecutor's office, a production and reloading complex in Podunav’ya suffered damage as a result of the attack. Warehouses and administrative buildings were among the damaged structures.
The examination of the site of the terrorist attack is ongoing, and the extent of the damage is being determined.
An investigation has been initiated under Article 438, Part 1, of the Criminal Code of Ukraine in connection with the attack.
According to the General Staff, during August 22, the enemy conducted four rocket and 58 aviation strikes, as well as 60 MLRS strikes on the positions of Ukrainian forces and various populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks resulted in casualties and injuries to civilians. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were also damaged.
During August 22, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted 111 aviation strikes on enemy troop concentrations and two aviation strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems. Ukrainian rocket and artillery forces targeted three enemy troop concentrations, weapons, and military equipment, as well as two ammunition depots, one command post, one artillery system in a firing position, and one thermobaric artillery system.
