The man from Odessa who gave the enemy information about anti-aircraft systems will spend 15 years behind bars

A resident of Odessa has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for state treason after providing the enemy with the location information of air defense systems for 70,000 hryvnias. This information was reported by the press service of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Upon the support of the prosecution by the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the resident of Odessa has been convicted of state treason (Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

He has been sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with property confiscation.

Prosecutors proved that the man, who was a supporter of Russia and did not shy away from 'dirty' earnings, collected information for the Russian special services about the location of objects of energy infrastructure, the location of personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, checkpoints, administrative buildings of law enforcement agencies, and military facilities in Odessa and the region.

In particular, the man identified and documented the deployment of anti-air defense assets in Odessa. He estimated his 'assistance' to traitors at 70,000 hryvnias.

To collect intelligence information, he traveled to various districts of Odessa and its suburbs, where he conducted photo and video recordings of objects.

The enemy's informant was arrested during the transfer of video materials with the location of air defense systems to representatives of Russian special services using one of the messengers.
