This morning, it became known that Russian terrorists detonated the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station (located in the Kherson region). As a result, many populated areas were flooded, and thousands of Ukrainians found themselves in a dangerous zone.

The evacuation of the affected people is currently underway. The Mayor of Vinnytsia, Serhiy Morgunov, stated in his Telegram channel that Vinnytsia is ready to shelter residents from the territories affected by the terrorist attack.

"This is another act of terrorism! The occupiers blew up the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station. The evacuation of residents from the adjacent areas has begun. Hundreds of populated areas are at risk, including the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant," wrote Serhiy Morgunov.

Furthermore, he noted that an emergency meeting of the Interregional Coordination Humanitarian Headquarters had already taken place regarding this matter. All available resources will be utilized to aid the victims.

The community leader also expressed confidence that every Russian criminal will face just punishment.

"I am convinced that, despite all acts of terror and destruction, we will endure. Our military will liberate Ukrainian land from this evil. The deceit and cruelty of the enemy have no limits. I am sure that Russians will be held accountable for everything in the international court," the statement said.
