In Vinnytsia Oblast, the "Don't Waste Time – Guard Your Health" campaign is ongoing. Today, a mobile medical team from the region visited the city of Bar. Every resident of the community had the opportunity to undergo a comprehensive health check, including blood sugar level measurement, blood pressure measurement, screening for HIV infection, hepatitis B and C, and a COVID-19 test. COVID-19 vaccinations, as well as vaccinations against tetanus and diphtheria, were also available. The Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Borzov, and Ukrainian Member of Parliament, Irina Borzova, observed the mobile team's work.
Serhiy Borzov noted that residents of the community could receive consultations from specialist doctors, including an oncodermatologist, endocrinologist, and general practitioner.
The work of the medical location was also supported by a team from the Red Cross Society of Vinnytsia Oblast. Their specialists conducted free ultrasound examinations of the thyroid gland and provided essential medications free of charge.
"Many people expressed a desire to undergo medical examinations, which underscores the importance and necessity of such outreach activities. Therefore, we continue to work and ensure access to medical services at the grassroots level," emphasized Serhiy Borzov.
Previously, in Poltava, 12 sets of neodymium magnets were delivered to the regional hospital, which will help extract foreign objects. These magnets were collectively manufactured by companies from Poltava, Kharkiv, and Lviv, and are already the fourth generation of these devices. The "Edelweiss" neodymium magnets are used in medicine for extracting small foreign objects, including splinters and even bullets.
